Her father Tobias Lear died in 1757. In 1767 John signed a Quit-claim to
her share of her father's estate on behalf of his children. Witnesses
were Nathaniel and Tobias according to one account, but could not find
document. It is referred to in the probate records for Tobias Lear's
estate.
Mary married John Banfill, son of Hugh Banfill and Abigail Jones, on 12 Dec 1734 in Pierce Record, Portsmouth N.H. (John Banfill was born in 1702 in Portsmouth NH and died on 3 Feb 1801 in Portsmouth NH.)
