Literary Society. In Nottingham 1790 Census, died by 1800 Census of Bradford.
His wife Sarah(widow) shows up in later land records. Birth in Portsmouth
South Church records 23 Nov. 1740 page 438. Vermont State papers Vol. 19, p.
299 John Banfill petitioned for incorporation of the Bradford Social and
Literary Society, 10 Sept. 1796. Also Vital Records of Nottingham - P.Hammond
