Said to have assisted Malcolm III "Caen Mor" in his contentions with Macbeth for the crown of Scotland between 1054 and 1057. Lived to an advanced age.

  Noted events in his life were:

• Military Service, 1054, Dunsinnan Hill. ³⁴ Supported Malcolm II's son Duncan against Macbeth and then Malcolm III against Macbeth. (1054?)

• Confirmed Barony, 1062. ³² Tradition says Malcolm III confirmed Barony to George at a parliament in Forfar.
