Many records in Portsmouth. Wife granted administration of his estate in
1707 after report of his death from Barbados. See also Agnes P. Bartlett
manuscript in the Concord N.H. library. He lived in the Strawberry-Banke
area of Portsmouth. A large barn remains in the name BANFIELD.

John married Mary Pickering, daughter of John Pickering and Mary (_____) Pickering, about 1671 in Portsmouth NH. (Mary Pickering was born in Portsmouth NH ? and died on 31 Jan 1727 in Portsmouth NH.)
